DC ConnectorRegular wear and tear means DC connectors are susceptible to damage and failure. The actual fault can vary from the connector to the actual power supply. We switch faulty connectors with higher quality replacements, meaning lightning won't strike twice!

Motherboard faultsMotherboard faults are very common but can be expensive. We always try to keep costs down by fixing motherboards when possible. However, because of our close ties with part suppliers, occasionally it is more cost effective to replace the motherboard. Once we've examined your laptop, we'll discuss the options available with you.

Broken hinges and cases Broken hinges and unsightly damaged cases may not stop your laptop working initially, but this kind of damage can cause additional problems. For example, the HP DV9000 series has a fault where the left hand hinge snaps and causes damage to the LCD backcover and LCD Bezel. We can repair this fault within 3 to 4 days door-to-door. We can also supply and install hinges or the upper and lower logic (plastics) to make your laptop look like new again.

What to do when you spill liquid on your laptop
Turn the machine off immediately. Using a dry cloth or paper towel try remove as much fluid as possible. Don't turn your machine on until one of our technicians has diagnosed any damage. |  |

Keyboard and mouse faultsKeyboard and mouse faults are usually the result of a spillage or excessive force. The usual cure is to replace the keyboard however sometimes there may be a fault with the motherboard. CRM can repair both of these issues.
